Guitarrista/compositor paulistano radicado em Nova York, Vinicius Gomes explora o diálogo entre o jazz moderno e a música brasileira, conforme registrado em seus álbuns "Resiliência" (2017-Blackstream), "Changes" (2020-FreshSound), em colaboração com o saxofonista espanhol Santi De la Rubia, o baterista Jorge Rossy e o baixista Doug Weiss e o mais recente lançamento "HOME" (2022-Greenleaf) em duo com a cantora e compositora Coreana Song Yi Jeon.
Vinicius já se apresentou com seus próprios projetos e como colaborador em importantes espaços como Dizzy's Club (NY), Smalls (NY), Jazz Gallery (NY), Bimhuis (Amsterdam), Bellas Artes (Cidade do México), National Sawdust (NY), Blue Note (NY), Duc Des Lombards (Paris), Sunset Sunside (Paris), JazzStation (Bruxelas), B-Flat (Berlim), Porgy E Bess (Viena), UC Berkeley Theatre e muitos outros.
